Shadowhunter's Realm

Bane Records for the Shadowhunters
Fall of the De'Quincey Clan

After a horrific Raid gone wrong, the institute needed back up, and quickly. They had called for a couple new recruits from Ireland and the Americas to fuel their party. With a new #1 team at the ready they set forth to a party held by the De’Quincey clan of vampires. Getting in unnoticed would be extremely difficult. Which is why the institute relied on the expertise of one of their oldest allies of the De’Quincey clan, Victoria. She trained with the team on how to go unnoticed at this party. There were rumors that these parties were the stage for some torturous and brutal killing of humans, which is against the law of the institute. Having no evidence the team needed to go in an observe. This was extremely difficult and needed a extra difficult glamour to make it possible.

Once the team was inside the party, several hiccups occurred. Leading to our newest member Lily in the hands of the famous De’Quincey. Not long after this the vampires retired to the entertainment hall where a sacrifice would be made. Unfortunately, the team was discovered and De’quincey called for his biggest traitor to come to the stage for sacrifice.

Victoria walked to the stage with pride and sat in the chair to await her demise. However, She did not expect the shadow-hunters to burst in at this moment. In doing so it gave her an advantage to attack.

After the battle, De’Quincey was destroyed as well as the majority of his clan. All that remained were Victoria and 4 vampires who surrendered to the Shadow-hunters. They were imprisoned until Victoria could speak with them. She will eventually release them and they will join her as their new head Vampire. Information was taken from De’Quincey’s residence but that information has yet to be discussed with the team.

Missing Artifacts from the museum
Part 1

Our shadow hunters were debriefed with information from the De’Quincey containment. All vampires were accounted for, either dead or surrendered. Victoria took the remaining survivors and has begun to rebuild her clan with her at the head.

They received news of artifacts taken from the local museum. They were being called as the building resonated with demonic magic at the time of investigation.

Upon arriving, the shadow hunters did a clean sweep of the museum to investigate the whereabouts of the artifact. 4 items were stolen.
A Chinese ceptar
3 paintings
- The great war
- cave of the storm Nymphs
- Ophelia

Upon further investigation the team uncovered Glamour runes at the entrance of the museum. While investigating our team came into contact with feudal era Japanese armor which came to life an attacked. Lily, received minor wounds from the encounter. After their defeat the armor collapsed to the ground and a man came into the picture. He introduced himself as Lucius Bane and it was increasingly clear that he was a warlock and the half brother of the shadow hunters mentor Magnus. After leaving the room Lucius disposed of the armor and vanished.

The team continued to search the museum and found a port where the store nymph painting once sat. The traveled through the portal only to land in the cave itself. The water crashing against the rocks just outside the exit to the cave. – end of part one

Someone by the name of Jack the Ripper has been murdering and dismembering bodies for the past few nights. Countless people have gone missing however only a few bodies have surfaced. A note was given to the institute that led the team to the sewers. While there they encounter Lucious once more and the fight ensued. Lucious badly hurt escapes after telling Nate and Lilly they were related, and that nate was his son. The team came back and decided for her safety to send lilly back to america.

The Ripper Case Part 2

The evening started off as many did, with research and being briefed by Magnus. After having introduced Scarlett as his Fiancee he quickly resumed business as usual (After dismissing her out the door rather quickly) He threw a rained upon and crinkled newspaper in front of them that highlighted another murder by none other than the ripper.

Newspaper Article

After going over it they received new news of yet another murder in a Brothel by the name of the Candied Swine. They made their way to the brothel to seek out their informant, a man by the name of Dorian Grey, whose looks seemed to entrance young Vanderhill. Making the introductions brief, he escorted the group to the third floor bedroom which was overrun by bobbies as well as two investigators.

Investigator One
Investigator Two

The scene was entirely too grizzly for our scottsman as he had to spend a good chunk of the investigation outside the door vomiting. A woman (as far as everyone could tell) was laying on the bed, entirely free of skin, as well as her toes and eyeballs. Unsure of the motive the group begins to question the investigators and they relay their information.

William decides to speak with the Madame Fleuer, the owner of the brothel. She tells him she had a taste for rich men and this one seemed to be no excepted, however he was a newcommer and was not a regular. She was not at the brothel this night as business was slow.

After several moments of arguing the group convinced the investigators to examine the body but they were not allowed to make incisions. They followed that request but noticed the body received burn marks on her flesh, one on her shoulder, one on her lower buttock, and one on her hip. They are not sure at this time if these were the areas of incision to remove the skin. However, moving the body did rouse her mouth open, and with it smoke escaped her lips as a gear fell to the floor. The gear itself seeming fairly normal except for an ouroboros carved into one side. Leaving the scene fairly quickly after that they made their way along the street to catch up to Andrew and their carriage. While doing so Dorian seemed to freeze in his tracks at the sight of a young boy accompanied by an older gentleman who held his umbrella for him.

He quickly caught sight of the group and made his way over for introductions. Which the group was all but comfortable with. Lucas Calhoun, head of the largest vampire clan in London now. After their rude introductions he left them standing in the rain and continued on.

Eventually Dorian took our group to obtain new weapons from Lottie Abbott, A mundane
